"Great place! Food was good. Prices are reasonable(which is becoming rare these days) I eat a lot of Vietnamese, the noodles were cooked perfectly, the broth was complex and flavorful. I will return and recommend this place. Try the bubble tea here. Really well done!!"

"Fantastic place. I ordered the Rare beef soup with extra vegetables and a side of rice. The soup was delicious, lots and lots of meat and even more noodles, the veggies were fresh and tasty, The rice in a large bowl on the side was also great. Could not finish it all as it was a lot of food, great food but a lot. They gave me two containers to take the remainder home. Super friendly service at a reasonable price. Will definitely be going back as I wish to try the beef stew soup next. I'm so full!"

"I ordered the banh xeo and fried dumplings to go (captured here but I left the fresh greens that came with it out of the picture) and let me tell you…. The banh xeo was delicious!!!! Perfect amount of protein and veggies inside, the exterior had a perfect crisp and not burnt, the nuoc mum paired perfectly with it…Would definitely go back for it."

"Saigon Golden is easily one of the best places in Calgary for authentic Vietnamese food. The flavours taste just like home, comforting, balanced, and made with care. You can really tell the dishes are prepared the traditional way. The fish sauce for the spring rolls and summer rolls is absolutely spot-on. It has that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and tangy, exactly like the kind you’d get at home or from a mom’s kitchen. It brings the whole meal together. The menu has lots of great choices, the portions are generous, and everything comes out fresh and flavourful. If you’re looking for truly authentic Vietnamese comfort food in the city, Saigon Golden is the place to go. Highly recommend!"

"Wow. That’s honestly all I can say. I consider myself a bit of a pho connoisseur, it’s my personal mission to try every pho spot in Calgary and this place genuinely surprised me. I’d never been to this location before. It previously used to be a WonTon King, and I had no idea it switched over until it popped up when I searched “pho” on Google. I’m glad it did. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (#23) (transaltes to "special pho" and is what I always order everywhere) and I was seriously impressed. For me, it’s always about the broth, and theirs hits the spot. Not overly salty, full of flavour, and served in the perfect portion size. Even the chopsticks and spoon were the right design and material, which sounds small, but any pho lover knows it matters. I always get a pot of jasmine tea with my pho, and theirs was great as well. Overall? Zero complaints. I’m honestly ecstatic that a quality pho spot is now this close to my work. I’ll be coming back often. Would have added a photo but I already finished my meal and my bowl is empty as I write this review."

"I was feeling under the weather when i walk in to their restaurant. It was minutes after they close and they still take my order. This place is a certified late night heroes. I ordered soup #30 and it was one of the best soup i’ver ever tried. We’ll come back again here and recommend to my friends"
